Meet the Founders: Sue and Simone
Sue is our curator and event guru. She leads the decision-making when it comes to beer selections and finds fun ways to highlight what is “on tap.” Simone is our “Plate-Spinner-in-Chief.” She makes sure the day-to-day operations stay on track.
They have always been lovers of craft beer and good food, but it took them a while before they were able to embark on this journey. Believe it or not, The Sunny Pint began as a side hustle. Having started with hosting events and trips, they moved to provide food to TV and film productions out of their 1978 Volkswagen camper van.
Both of them have experience working in the financial and operational sector but always wanted to work for themselves. Today, Sue and Simone are happily sharing their passion for premium craft beer and irresistibly good food with the community.
Our Value Statement
The Sunny Pint is designed as a community taproom and eatery because we believe that a business is an integral part of the community in which it resides. In addition to exceptional quality and service, we promote an inclusive and welcoming environment based on respect, integrity, accountability, and stewardship.
What Sets Us Apart
Our establishment is 100% women-owned, and we live in the community we serve. We also have unique product offerings that customers can look forward to, such as our rotating selection of local and regional craft beers. Many of our beers are locally sourced, meaning we get to know the brewers personally and strive to order homegrown products whenever possible.
Our knowledgeable and attentive staff provides personalized service. We attend to our customer’s needs and make sure they are having a great time.
